The Full Story

Larry Klotz founded Klotz Sand Co., Inc. in 1977, starting from the ground up as a dedicated aggregate producer. His vision began with the establishment of the company’s first rock quarry in Deerfield, Kansas. Over the years, Larry's hard work and commitment to excellence enabled Klotz Sand Co. to expand its operations to multiple locations across Kansas. Building on its solid foundation in aggregates, the company also broadened its services to include asphalt paving, becoming a trusted name in the industry for both high-quality products and reliable service.

Klotz Sand Co., Inc. has remained a family-owned and operated business since its founding. The commitment to our core values of quality, integrity, hard work, and customer satisfaction has remained at the heart of everything we do, just as it was when Larry first laid the foundation over 45 years ago.
